Following Christ can be difficult. Here at Highland, we
won't put restrictions on you that Jesus didn't, so we invite you to come as
you are and be who you are. When you come through the doors into the foyer,
you'll be greeted (Not an over the top make-you-feel-awkward greeting. Just a
normal, "Hey, it's good to see you!). If you like to talk, we'd love to
get to know you. If you want to just sit down, that's great too.
The service starts at 10:30 am with a time of singing and an "unplugged" acoustic worship set. We love to spend time in the presence of God. Some people
sit, some stand, others lift their hands... There is no right or wrong way to
worship. It's just a time to thank God for who He is and what He has done.
After worship, Pastor Brad will give a talk. Usually the
messages have a theme, and the stage is decorated to reflect that theme. Pastor
Brad works hard to bring the Bible to life in a way that's easy to understand
and apply. He wants you to walk away with truth you can use.
